How to read the New York forecast
A good forecast is really three views at once. The current panel tells you what it feels like outside right now — critical before stepping onto a Manhattan sidewalk. The hourly strip is for planning your day: when the rain band arrives, when the wind picks up, when it warms up enough for that lunchtime walk in Central Park. The seven-day outlook is for the week ahead, most reliable in the first three or four days. Read it top to bottom and you'll have what you need.
